Pooh Needs Your Help!

Spayed female, Part Maine Coon, Born: 2001.  Surrendered to CMP in 2014, when her person was moved out of state, into assisted living by family.  Pooh is a sweet senior female who would do well with a patient family who would rep sect that some cats need a few weeks to get used to their surroundings. She’d love a family for her golden years.

“I’ve been quite content living in a loving Camp Many Paws home, but recently had unexpected eye trouble! It happened quickly and what looked like a cataract was actually glaucoma. Although I was immediately hurried to the eye doctor, nothing could be done to save the sight in my right eye. Since it is now sightless, the doctor says my eye should be removed in order to prevent the growth of any cancerous tumor or sarcoma, which she says very is possible. Will you please donate to help pay for my $700 eye surgery!”

Thank You Petsthetics!

Here are Pete and Matt with Petsthetics, LLC. Licensed Prosthetic Orthopedists, they came down from Tampa to meet Hazel! Pete is holding Hazel, our tripod kitty.

Thank you for helping Hazel with a temporary orthopedic while she’s small, for free. They measured her for a temporary prosthetic to see how she adjusts to it. A real one would be about $500-$700 dollars.

Please donate at to help us afford it!

Don’t forget to like Petsthetics on Facebook for their hard work!

Our Latest Rescue

Meet BB

BB is a happy, independent boy who loves to play. He’s social with cats and dogs, and is very deserving! BB was rescued after he was shot in the face by some teenage boys with a BB gun. BB Is fixed and up to date on his shots and ready to get to know you during what we call a no obligation “sleepover”!!

You can take your time getting to know a kitty. Which is great because sometimes it an take a few weeks for a kitty to become acclimated to their new house! Ask about taking BB home.
