Q: “Are my donations to camp many paws tax-deductible?”

A: Yes! Camp Many Paws is a non-profit organization that is officially recognized by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as having 501(c3) status and therefore donations are considered to be tax deductible contributions. An entity that has received 501(c3) approval should be able to provide you with a letter from the IRS stating that it has been recognized as a tax exempt entity.

Q: “What is Trap Neuter Return (TNR)?”

A: Trap Neuter Return is the humane and effective approach for stray and feral cats. Now in practice for decades in the US after being proven in Europe, scientific studies show that Trap Neuter Return improves the lives of feral cats, improves their relationships with the people who live near them, and decreases the size of colonies over time.

Q: “Why do I have to sign a contract to adopt a rescue from Camp Many Paws?”

A: Many of the cats from Camp Many Paws are rescues from neglectful or abusive situations and we make it a point to make sure their new homes are safe and loving. We require information and proof that you can care for your cat and this is especially important for cats with special needs.
